Generative pieces leaning on simple rules - diffusion, flocking, growth, decay - and letting them surprise me. Some are videos. Some run live in the browser. Some print as a single still and stop there.
I'm FM. Most of what I make borrows its grammar from natural systems: tides, lichen, slime molds, phyllotaxis, the slow arithmetic of erosion. Sometimes a model joins the loop and starts guessing at the punctuation; I usually let it.
This site is the archive. Newer pieces sit toward the top. Most are unfinished by intention - abandoned at the point they stopped surprising me. A few are still running, somewhere, alone.
